Out Takes.....
You work hard trying to take the very best pictures possible, clear and in focus.  You want the best light, you want everything coming together in perfect harmony.  I'm a firm believer in Murphy's Law.....and here is the proof......
"Mother Nature"
WIND
Wind is an enemy when taking pictures outside.....(unless you are taking a picture of a flag waving)....that vase is a glass one...I got lucky, I caught it before it rolled off.  The Flag is rather pretty draped over the horn, except,  I wanted a picture of just the horn.
BUGS, INSECTS AND ANY OTHER CREEPY CRAWLERS
ewwww.....and I'm allergic too....ick
"Distractions"
Meet Sebastian...& Sandy the victum
Distractions come in many forms...from the beautiful Guthrie sky at sunset, to the playful Feline ready to start trouble in an otherwise tranquil home.  Guess he's never heard the old saying..."Let sleeping dogs lie".....LOL
"Unsolicited Help"
Oh Joy.....
I'm trying to take the picture inside anyway, which is a big mistake. I didn't need a short helper....and when he stuck his head in the basket after the yarn, I couldn't resist...I'll admit...I grabbed the camera and snapped some pics of him....LOL  From the pictures you might get the impression we only have one cat and a dog...wrong.  We have 3 cats and 2 dogs.  It's just that Sebastian is young and........well....inquisitive...the others, Patches & Missy, are older and sleep most of the day.....LOL  the Dogs are Shotzie, the eldest & Sandy, our Golden Retriever mix...he's a big'n....LOL  4 of our current Pets were abandoned by their previous owners at the end of our road.  Patches was abandoned in Dayton, Ohio when we lived there.  She is the old matron of the house at 20 years old.  We lost Patches in April 2005. We had another cat show up and we named him Socks. Update: 2010- We lost both our dogs now and the only cat we have left from the bunch is Sebastian, he's 9 years old now. Wow, how time flies. But don't be sad, in 2001 we had 2 more show up. Princess & Tiger. Princess wasn't pregant when she first got here, but it didn't take long. I bet you think Tiger is the dad...huh. Nope...another stray that we'd never seen before is. She had 5. 3 boys 2 girls. We kept one, our son took 3 and we gave 1 away.
Meet Tiger & Stubby...now you see why Tiger couldn't be the dad...LOL Stubby  just celebrated his 3 birthday March 25.
